Bay House

A design/build renovation for a weekend and vacation house for family. The house is a modest 2-story frame dwelling on a large lot with beautiful backyard views of a Chesapeake Bay tributary to the west. The owners requested a renovation that would both capitalize on the house's relationship to the river and open the plan of the first floor to facilitate entertainment for guests. A second phase of the renovation will revise the cramped northern portion of the house to reroute circulation at the front of the house and provide a more private master-down bedroom for future guest and owner use.
